In 1988, Executive Director Jeffrey Choa, was facing a dilemma between migrating abroad or working in the country. Fresh out of the Computer Science program at the University of the Philippines, he was unsure about his next steps. However, he was certain about one thing – he understood the value that technology could bring to make our world a better place to live. This became his guiding principle when he eventually decided to stay in the country and establish Microgenesis as a startup through his faith in God.
As the years went on, Microgenesis progressed with further success, but the core of its philosophy remained the same: to envision a future where technology contributes positively to the development of a vibrant and productive society.

Every year, we team up with the Institute for Foundational Learning (IFL), a non-profit organization in Cabuyao, Laguna involved in various charitable work, such as Agricultural Technology, Educational Training, and other mission programs.
Every Christmas, we strive to fill the void in children’s hearts by spending time with them, listening to their stories, and fulfilling their wish lists. By nurturing their formation, we empower them to thrive and lay the foundation for a bright future.
We also work alongside World Vision Philippines, the largest Christian non-profit organization in the country, to send children from impoverished areas to school.
In addition to continuously sponsoring their education, we equip parents and guardians with knowledge, skills, and livelihood opportunities, enabling them to better provide for their families.
We also assist them in celebrating special occasions, preventing diseases and malnutrition, protecting children from abuse, preparing them for disasters and emergencies, and nurturing their spiritual journey.
Additionally, we participate in tree planting activities to help address critical environment challenges.
Other initiatives include the Bike for Hope project at San Fernando, Pampanga where we donated brand new bikes to frontliners during the pandemic.
